First of all, I hope everyone is enjoying the summer! I’ve got a lot to blog, yet I haven’t been blogging. Truth be told I am a little tired and lazy despite various sources of inspiration, but I’m back with a short post.
If you ever catch me in world chances that I’m wearing something grey, black, cream or white are rather big. It’s not that I don’t like colour, I just use it as a spice rather than a staple when it comes to my closet. It is summer though, and once in a while I’ll make an exception when something inspiring comes along. This time it’s geometric and plastic. Chunky square and round shapes are seen in the accessories, lacking intricate details but with vibrant colours and along with a top with a sculpted bottom I think the result becomes a bit caricature like, in a good way. Keyword = angles. I personally love the hourglass figure-effect of the skirt bottom, as sharp angles etc. might not always be feminine looking and I like for outfits to hint at different things at the same time, if that makes any sense? Haha.
The first time I tried prim nails all I could see was AO interference and it took a long time before I even reconsidered them. But I did. It was at Fleur and since then I’ve mostly just loved them. Sure, they don’t work well with hand-held bags and/or rings, sometimes an animation makes them look off, but I don’t mind. When they stay where they should I like the look and they’re actually a lot cheaper than most manicures worn on a glove layer.
The retro shades from Vintage Wear are most definitely my current favourites along with the “Oracle” shades from Tesla. I’m not sure if it’s the heat, or my lazy state of mind, but lately I’ve worn a lot of dressed-down and grungy kind of stuff – these shades are perfect for that too. If I manage to blog again within a not too distant future they may re-appear, but until next time… Take care, guys! :D
