The Smile chair designed by Lievore Altherr Molina for Andreu World, has recently been awarded the 2008 Wallpaper Design Award for best dining chair by Wallpaper Magazine. It was judged by a panel that included Patricia Urquiola and Tadeo Ando among others high profile design stars. The chair references the classical dining chair form, but is playfully contemporary with it’s ‘smile’ created through curves in the timber. It is available through Living Edge’s Melbourne showroom.
