This weekend I also headed down to Brooklyn for the Brooklyn Flea Market pop up Antiques Fair. The Brooklyn Flea Market runs every Sunday, and has over 150 vendors of new and old goodies – you can find amazing furniture, clothes, jewelry, arts and crafts and tons of other stuff. The people watching is pretty great too!
The pop up Antiques fair is running for the next 11 weekends in DUMBO, so be sure to make your way to 76 Front Street. While I was there I met Harry Cooker who has really beautiful vintage jewelry, including these two brooches.

The top one is from the 1950’s ($40) and the bottom one is from the early ‘60’s ($35). I stopped by the vendor Going, Going, Gone Auction Gallery, and found this amazing little 3 piece tea set.
Tea set
It is made of English ivory and was only $30!! It reminds me of a sweet little tea set I had as a little girl. I also met Molly from Chairloom, who was a definite find – I’ll be keeping an eye on her website for great deals! Check out these fun pillows and chairs. This blue mohair chair ($750) is the perfect accent chair for any apartment (hint, hint!!).

The bird pillows are by John Robshaw, my fave, the peacock is $140. There were also some Virginia Johnson pillows (I love this teal one!). I also completely fell in love with these stools covered in eco-friendly fabric by Rubie Green ($425 each).

I also chatted with Amy Pasco, the artist who creates these fab toilet seat covers. They start at $475, and each is a unique glass and china mosaic with its own theme. Who says you can’t bring art into the bathroom?!

Moving on, I stopped by Joseph Heideckers’ booth. Joseph is a photographer who did an exhibition at Design Miami last year. I immediately noticed this lamp (sorry, it’s sideways!), which he made from found photographs. I didn’t get the price on this because I just knew it would be beyond my means!

After a while I needed a quick pick-me-up, so I stopped by Front Street Pizza for a quick slice. Seems I wasn’t the only one with that idea – so many people there were carrying their great finds from the fair, I was so jealous! I will definitely be going back – my living room could use some sprucing up and I think those bird pillows are the way to go
