I was on my way to my dad’s birthday party when I noticed this chair outside a couple blocks from my house. It was free! I tried to put it in my car but it wouldn’t fit, so this nice guy walked up and offered to drive it over for me. I offered him some Starbucks gift cards, but he declined.
We had such a good time at my dad’s. There was a water slide for kids and my daughter partied with his girlfriend’s granddaughter who is her age. They’re quickly becoming close friends.
Yes, his present is wrapped in a paper grocery sack and duct tape. I was going for the rugged masculine look to offset his granddaughter’s very lovely birthday card.
