I discovered Trainspotters when in a desperate search for lights for my new kitchen (now sold out). They’ve got a nice selection of architectural salvage - including lighting, furniture, clocks and decorative bits. They’ve got a good eye, the items are in good shape and their prices are pretty reasonable - unlike a lot of salvage places. And if you ever need an enormous ‘marine spot light‘ then this is the place to go!
In the coming weeks we’ll be making some major changes at BroadBased, as part of those changes we’re cleaning house and we have some furniture we’re looking to sell.

Retrology is one of my favourite shopping sims. The shops are carefully laid out, the sim is styled in a stringent theme, and Jhuzen “Ketsy” Ketsugo and her partner do an amazing community work with lots of events and promotions. That said, it’s obvious that available shops at Retrology are the exception, not the rule.
Today, I found a notecard from Ketsy saying that we are on top of the waiting list and that there is a vacancy in the “flea market” area. While this is not a full featured shop yet, it still is our foothold on this wonderful sim and we hope to get eventually offered a regular shop there. So please come and visit us at Retrology - and as an introductory offer, the vendors are marked 20% off!
Ah, another concept for me and my fellow introverts (I’ve already shown you the Introvert Sweater and the maximum privacy furniture piece: Sensory Deprivation Skull. Now there’s a bench to follow suit.
