Steam Forge describes itself as a Steampunk epicentre and it certainly feels like it as you walk around it. Spanning three sims Steam Forge caters to virtually every taste from within the steampunk genre and appears to have gone through a recent makeover since I last visited here and looks so much better for it.
Steel girders rise up all around you, a half submerged city, grimy broken windows, and dingy lights guide your way around the city. You could just walk around and marvel at all the little details from spinning cogs, jets of steam, the water flowing beneath you. But then you’d miss all the shops.
There are shops pratically covering everything; clothing, steampowered vehicles, furniture, jewellery, weapons, hair, skins, shapes, prefabs and most probably a whole lot more I haven’t seen. You certainly need to spend some time looking around and. But it is well worth the time and visit.
