So, after deciding to remodel my entire house, my boyfriend and I agreed to each get sole creative ability on one room each. He chose the game room, of course, and I chose the bathroom. Now, my bathroom needs a lot of work. It was a huge step just to decide where to begin. While the floors weren’t ancient, they surely were in poor form, the tub was OK, the toilet, OK, and the sink was terrible. So begins my venture. Thankfully, I have a friend at Simplybathtubs.com who is going to help me decide which bathtub is best for my home/style, so I’ll keep you informed. I’m going to post pictures too, as I get some progress done!

So it’s the Friday before a long weekend, and my brain definitely thinks it’s already time to enjoy the weekend. Concentrating on work has become insatiable. With my bathroom remodeling project, newly underway, it’s constantly on my mind, exhausting me. I tend to get obsessive about things, especially if it’s an on-going project or transitional period. I like to get things done, and have a hard time going piece by piece. If it was up to me I would go home and finish redecorating the bathroom tonight. Then maybe I could enjoy my long weekend. Instead I will spend my downtime in front of the computer, as if I don’t do enough of that as is during the work week, trying to find original pieces that will compliment my style and our home. I’m sure I’ll drive myself crazy, and my friends when they start bantering “Where are you? Why aren’t you with us at the beach?” I vow to try not to obsess this weekend, and enjoy my time with friends and family. I’ll let you know on Monday how it goes!

Well the Grand Opening is now behind us and it was a great success. Fun was had by all parties involved. The food was great that was provided by Don Cofer. Magnolia played a great set of music that everyone enjoyed. Several lots were put on hold and the contracts are being worked out. Lots are moving fast so to get the premium lots, you need to hurry. Currently we are offering until Sept. 5, 2008 a $7000 incentive that can be used at Tims Ford Powersports for the purchase of a Sea Doo or towards a Crest Pontoon Boat or it can be used towards upgrades and closing costs. For more information about this fantastic incentive, please feel free to contact us at 931-967-2730 or by e-mail at TwinCreeksVillage@att.net.
We would like to thank all that participated in our Grand Opening and the people that donated to our give aways.
