Now you can play a game while eating too, well at least on this table. Moritz Waldemeyer, creator of the Pong table, used over 2400 LEDs to make up this table. With two people at the ends of table you can simulate a game of Pong using track pads for the paddle and the LEDs across the table simulate the ball bouncing back in forth. The classic game has returned in style if you ask me.
The Pong table was shown at the Elastic Mind exhibit and was a big hit with the attendees. Sadly it seems as though actual production of the table for us consumers won’t be happening anytime soon, its one of a kind.
If this table was reasonable in price I so would get one. Especially if it had me some Pac-Man. The original article can be found over at Gizmodo.com.

…both from The Shop Floor Project and both out of my price range. Firsly, I want some of these spectacular tights. I know I’ve featured them before, but they’re amazing! Looky!

Also, I WANT WANT WANT one of these amazing covered screens. They’re just beautiful! I’ve long wanted a screen to get dressed behind. But I don’t really have any spare cash right now… in fact, I don’t really have any cash at all. Why did I give up work for 3 months?!

I LOVE the footstools too, and think one would be amazing with my dressing table, but again, pennies are a problem.
Right, I’m off to buy a lottery ticket…

Obelisk is not really furniture. It is art.
Because when the four lounge chairs and the coffee table are not being used, they are stacked and form a work of art. They turn into a towering stone, which proves that stacked furniture does not have to look like stacked furniture. Frank Ligthart

Really pretty table from Based Upon across the Atlantic, complete with real butterflies embedded in resin. I like it.
