Can you see the problem? I’m tying away, being all “in the zone” while writing, and along comes a fat cat who wants to be near the window, but can’t be. So instead of getting down, he makes his home right in front of the monitor. He figures if he stays there long enough, I’ll move something so he can be by the window. Oh how wrong he is! I usually pick him up and put him on the floor. He never learns. It’s difficult having a cat.
Someone thought they could help us pet owners by creating something useless that will only clutter up our desks more. The Cat Desktop.
The concept is great. I’m a fan of things having their own space (you’d never guess by the way my desk looks right now). But a cat? Yeah I don’t really think they’d pick up on the whole “this is where you’re supposed to lay” message. They’ll probably look at it, sniff it and walk away. Unless you have a Miss Picky Piddles like I do. In that case they’ll probably pee on it.
